How is the inheritance divided between five daughters and a full brother of the deceased?

If the deceased leaves behind only three daughters and a full brother, then the daughters receive two-thirds as a prescribed share, according to the Almighty’s saying: "But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two-thirds of what he left." The remainder goes to the full brother by way of ta’sib (residuary inheritance), according to the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male heir." Thus, the inheritance is divided into fifteen shares: ten shares for the daughters (two shares for each), and five shares for the full brother. It is important to note the necessity of referring inheritance matters to the Sharia (definition) courts for investigation and to ensure that there are no wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
