Will God forgive a young man who repented of theft and embezzlement of debts after committing them in the past?

Sincere repentance removes sins and is achieved through regret, abandoning the sin, and resolving not to return to it, along with restoring rights to their owners or seeking their forgiveness. If one cannot reach the owner of the right, they should give charity on their behalf. If they are unable to do so, they should turn to Allah and increase good deeds and supplications for the owners of the rights.

If the right is financial, it must be returned. If that is not possible, one should seek forgiveness from the owner. If the owner cannot be reached or has died, one should give charity on their behalf. If even that is not possible, one should increase their good deeds and humbly beseech Allah to make the owner pleased with them on the Day of Judgment.
