Is the wife considered unjust to her husband for seeking a divorce from him, given her suffering from his continuous abuse and his failure to fulfill his financial responsibilities towards her and their daughters?

It is the wife's right that her husband should not be absent from her for more than six months except with her permission, and that he should spend on her and her children. Warnings have been reported in the Sunnah against neglecting financial support, and that he should treat her kindly.

Beating and humiliating her contradicts kind treatment. You are not unjust in seeking a divorce; rather, he is unjust to you through his actions. However, do not rush to seek divorce until you consider what is more suitable, as it may not always be the best option. Seek help from Allah and then from some wise individuals.

A wife has the right to reclaim from her husband what she spent on herself and her children if she did not spend it voluntarily.
