The answer

A person may sense what is about to happen through their intuition, sagacity, and contemplation, as substantiated by Allah's saying: "Indeed in that are signs for those who discern." And it was narrated in the Hadith: "Beware of the intuition of the believer, for he sees with the light of Allah," and "Indeed, Allah has servants who recognize people by discernment." This is what happened with some of the righteous predecessors. A Muslim should be keen to benefit from good, guard against evil, be patient during calamities, and thank Allah during prosperity, as substantiated by Allah's saying: "And give good tidings to the patient, who, when affliction strikes them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.'" And one should not be panicky, impatient, or withholding like those who do not pray, but rather be keen on what benefits them, seek help from Allah, and not despair.
