Is it permissible to remain with one's wife after discovering that she was afflicted by jinn possession prior to marriage, and is the failure to inform the husband of this considered deception?

Being touched by a jinn is not considered a defect that necessitates annulment of the marriage or disclosure, unless it reaches the point of insanity. If she recovers, there is no need to disclose it. It is recommended to be patient with her, supplicate for her recovery, and assist her in treatment through ruqyah (definition) (Islamic exorcism) or by presenting her to specialized doctors. Necessary precautions must be taken to prevent harm. If she does not recover, one may consider marrying another or divorcing if the need arises.
