Is my marriage to the suitor valid in Islamic law without my father's consent, and am I sinful for having run away from my family, and what should I do regarding my family?

If a father prevents his daughter from marrying a suitable man (kuf’), then he is a 'āḍil (one who unjustly withholds consent), and she is not permitted to marry without a guardian. Rather, another guardian or the judge should marry her off. However, if the girl marries without a guardian, following the madhhab (definition) of Abu Hanifa - may Allah have mercy on him - her marriage is valid, provided it fulfills the remaining conditions. It is obligatory for her to be dutiful to her parents and maintain ties of kinship. She is not permitted to sever ties with her father, even if he is unjust.
