The answer

The male organ should be washed and ablution performed upon certainty or strong probability of the emission of prostatic fluid (madhy), along with washing whatever it stained on the clothes or body. This is based on what was narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "I was a man who emitted prostatic fluid frequently, so I asked a man to inquire of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on account of his daughter's status. He (the Prophet) was asked and he said: 'Perform ablution and wash your male organ.'" Scholars have unanimously agreed that prostatic fluid (madhy) nullifies ablution. However, if there is no certainty or strong probability of its emission, then the original state of purity remains. It is recommended to perform ablution for one whose male organ became erect but nothing was emitted from it.
