What is the ruling of Islamic law concerning a Muslim woman whose husband earns his living from working in a bar that sells alcoholic beverages?

The wife must advise her husband to abandon the unlawful work of selling alcohol, reminding him that his earnings are forbidden and that he will be questioned about them on the Day of Judgment. She should also remind him that unlawful wealth prevents prayers from being answered, invalidates expenditures and charities, and removes blessings.

If the husband responds and repents, then praise be to Allah. If he does not respond, then if the wife is able to spend from her own private wealth, she should do so. Otherwise, she may take from his wealth what suffices for her needs, and the sin will be upon him.
