Is it a condition for the skilled reciter of the Quran to receive two rewards, or for the one who recites it with difficulty, to be with a teacher, or is it sufficient to be by oneself?

The hadith which mentions that whoever recites the Qur’an with difficulty and stutters while doing so will receive two rewards is an authentic and agreed-upon hadith. The presence of a teacher is not a condition to obtain this reward; for everyone who recites the Qur’an and finds it difficult will receive two rewards. As for one who makes many errors (lahn) in recitation, if he is able to learn, then he must learn before reciting. But if his tongue does not obey him and most of his recitation contains errors, then he should stop reciting and strive to correct Al-Fatiha. However, if most of it is correct and he cannot eliminate the errors, then there is no harm in him reciting, but he should lower his voice.
