Behavior is a mirror of thought, for what appears in a person's behavior stems from their inner thought. Love prompts following, while hatred prompts opposing. Dislike of secularism or other deviant ideologies, once deeply rooted and becoming a conviction, necessitates disavowing and rejecting them, and this is sufficient to negate them from a person. It cannot be definitively stated that the deviation of those who fall into these paths is solely due to their moving away from sound transmitted knowledge and relying solely on reason; rather, it is one of the causes. There are other causes, such as following whims, blind imitation, an inferiority complex, and the corruption of the state of some who are affiliated with the Sharia (definition).
