The answer

The torment of the grave is escaped by some believers, while the embrace of the grave is not escaped by anyone, though it differs between the believer and the disbeliever. The believer enjoys comfort in his grave, it is expanded for him, and he sleeps like the slumber of a bride, and his good deeds come to him to defend him. As for the disbeliever and the hypocrite, they are tormented, and the grave is constricted upon them until their ribs intertwine. Among the deeds that prevent the torment of the grave is the recitation of Surat Al-Mulk, and the Quran intercedes for its companion on the Day of Resurrection.
