Is it permissible to seek treatment with the Quran from a sheikh who follows the Khalwatiyya al-Rahmaniyya tariqa? And is it permissible for a wife to disobey her husband if he commands her to do something that contradicts custom and tradition?

Some jurists, including the Hanafis and Shafi'i, permitted the ruqyah (definition) of a non-Muslim for a Muslim if the ruqyah was performed with the Book of Allah and His remembrance. The Malikis, however, dislike the ruqyah of the People of the Book, fearing that they might perform ruqyah with something resembling magic. If the ruqyah of a non-Muslim is permissible, then the ruqyah of a Muslim is even more permissible, even if there is some deviation in him, while exercising caution against shirk (definition) (polytheism). As for a wife's obedience to her husband, it is obligatory in matters of intimacy and related affairs, especially if the matter is contrary to custom.
