What is entailed for one who entered into ihram for Hajj, then wore a garment over the ihram due to not possessing a Hajj permit, then removed the garment in Al-Aziziyah?

The one who wears sewn clothes while in a state of ihram is obligated to offer a fidyah (expiation), which is the same as the fidyah for shaving mentioned in the Holy Quran: feeding six poor people, or fasting for three days, or sacrificing a sheep. This applies whether the wearing was due to an excuse or not. However, if someone wears them without an excuse, they must also repent in addition to offering the fidyah. The jurists differed on this matter. Al-Shafi'i and Ahmad held the view that the fidyah is obligatory without exception, while Malik stipulated that there must be a benefit derived from wearing the clothes, and Abu Hanifa stipulated that the clothes must be worn for a full day.
