The answer

It is permissible to earn money from watching videos online under two conditions: First: The videos must not contain anything forbidden, such as music, nudity, or promotion of something unlawful. This is because doing so involves committing unlawful acts or cooperating in sin, in accordance with Allah's saying: ﴿And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression﴾ [Al-Ma'idah: 2]. And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever calls to misguidance will have sin upon him like the sins of those who follow him." Second: The remuneration received by the viewer from the website must be known. If it is unknown or contingent on winning a draw, then the contract of جعالة (reward for a task) is invalid. This is based on the statement of Al-Khatib Al-Shirbini: "(It is stipulated) for the validity of the جعالة (that the remuneration) be a known amount of money; because it is a compensation like rent."
