Is it permissible to name mosques "Mosque of Sayyida Zaynab" or "Noor Allah"?

Naming mosques after individuals (men and women) is permissible according to the majority of scholars. Imam al-Bukhari titled a chapter in his Sahih: "Chapter: Is it permissible to say 'Mosque of Banu Fulan (so-and-so)'?", citing the hadith of Ibn Umar which states: "to the mosque of Banu Zuraiq."

Those who permit it respond to the disagreement of Ibrahim al-Nakha'i by explaining that the attribution of mosques to Allah in the verse: "And that the mosques are for Allah" (Quran 72:18) is a reality, whereas their attribution to others is for identification and distinction.

Furthermore, the naming of Aisha Mosque in Taneem has continued without objection from scholars, which indicates the permissibility of naming mosques after women.

As for naming a mosque "Noor Allah" (Light of Allah), it is permissible if it is intended as an honorable attribution to a created light, but it is not permissible if it refers to an attribute of Allah.
