Does the Hadith "The ages of my Ummah are between sixty and seventy" contradict the fact that the average human lifespan has only recently reached these years?

If a prophetic narration (hadith (definition)) is authentic, it is obligatory to believe in it, and it cannot be contradicted by anyone's words. Al-Albani and others have authenticated this hadith. Mulla Ali al-Qari, however, views the hadith as referring to the general case, citing as evidence that some individuals lived past sixty and seventy, and some Companions (Sahabah (definition)) reached or exceeded one hundred years of age. Therefore, the aforementioned statement is merely a claim.
