Does a girl have to perform ghusl if she sees sticky, yellowish-white discharge after performing ghusl from menstruation, thinking it is a sign of purity, and is this discharge considered semen, and what should she do?

A woman recognizes the cessation of menstruation by one of two signs: dryness (the cotton swab comes out clean), or al-qassah al-bayda' (a thin, white discharge). If she sees ritual purity by one of these two signs, performs ghusl, and prays, then she has fulfilled what is incumbent upon her. Yellow discharges are not considered menstruation unless they occur during the habitual period. As for white discharges (vaginal secretions), they are pure but invalidate wudu'. Doubt as to whether a discharge is semen does not necessitate ghusl; rather, its presence must be ascertained. The description of a woman's semen has been clarified in a previous fatwa.
