Is it true that whoever believes sins turn into good deeds in the sense mentioned in the message becomes a disbeliever?

A Muslim must stop at the boundaries set by Allah and not delve into matters of which he has no knowledge. Scholars have differed on the interpretation of the Almighty's saying: "For those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds," holding two views: The first is that Allah changes the deeds they committed while in their state of polytheism into good deeds in Islam. The second is that past evil deeds are transformed into good deeds through sincere repentance. It is not permissible to declare anyone an apostate in such disputed matters, and whoever does so will have resembled the Khawarij and committed a great sin.
