Should what was forgotten from the Holy Quran be memorized again after having memorized it?

Forgetting the Quran involves a detailed explanation: If it is due to neglecting its review, then it is a sin that requires repentance, according to the hadith: "I have not seen a greater sin than a surah from the Quran or an ayah that a man was given and then he forgot it." Some of the Salaf considered this among the major sins. However, if it is due to life's necessities or weak memory, then there is no sin in it, and the Muslim should strive to recall what he has memorized.
