What is the ruling on someone from whom pre-seminal fluid (madhiy) was discharged, and he cleaned his private parts and the area around them with tissues without washing them with water, then performed ablution (wudu'), and then remembered that he had forgotten to wash? Is it sufficient for him to wash his private parts after ablution and then pray, or must he repeat the ablution?

Mani (pre-seminal fluid) is impure by scholarly consensus. Wipes, cloths, or stones are sufficient to remove it from the body, though purification with water (istinja) is preferred. However, if it gets on clothes, the impurity must be washed with water; wiping it is not sufficient. Both testicles must be washed, even if mani did not touch them. If someone who performed ablution (wudu) forgets to purify themselves from mani, they do not need to repeat the ablution; rather, they only purify the impurity and pray. Touching the private parts without desire does not invalidate ablution.
