Is a person's intention to choose disbelief over torment, without any whisperings, considered an intention of disbelief?

If he uttered a word of disbelief under duress, while his heart was firm in faith, then there is no sin upon him, as evidenced by the Almighty's saying: "Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief - except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith. But those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment." It was emphasized that the questioner's state is one of Islam and love for it, so there is no need to pay attention to the whispers.
