Why must Muslim women wear the hijab and show "only what is ordinarily apparent," especially since Islamic law mandates it?

Allah only commands what contains an apparent or hidden wisdom. The hijab is a covering and a chastity for women, preventing evildoers from harming them, as stated in His Almighty's saying: "O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful." And a woman going out unveiled causes crimes and moral corruption and makes her a cheap commodity. Recent studies have shown an increase in the rate of harassment and rape in countries that are lenient regarding the hijab. Islamic Sharia brought good for both women and men and did not restrict women but rather set controls to protect them. Many women in the West have realized the truth of Allah's law and have embraced Islam. Women in Islam are preserved and protected, and their great role in caring for their husbands and raising children is the foundation of societal well-being. Studies have proven that a mother dedicated to her home is the most precious asset a family possesses. Also, 80% of American women believe that false freedom is the cause of decadence and violence. Removing the hijab from women means evil and harm, and Islam has blocked the ways to that by making the hijab obligatory. One must hasten to embrace Islam and not allow weak commitment to the hijab or shyness from people to deter one from the great good deed of entering Paradise.
