The answer

Surah Al-Mursalat is considered Makki (revealed in Mecca) by the majority of scholars. It was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ at night in a cave near Mina, close to the Khayf Mosque, as narrated by Ibn Masʿud May Allah be pleased with him. However, some commentators mention that verse 48—“And when it is said to them, ‘Bow [in prayer],’ they do not bow”—was revealed in Madinah concerning the hypocrites. The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this surah during prayers, and according to Umm al-Fadl, it was the last thing she heard him recite in Maghrib prayer.
