What is the solution for a young man who suffers from sexual repression, whose income does not allow him to marry, and whose mother refuses to let him marry before his income improves, and he fears falling into sin despite his continuous efforts?

If a Muslim fears falling into the unlawful (haram (definition)), he must marry when he is able to do so. In such a case, it is not permissible to obey one's mother in delaying the marriage, because it is necessary to protect oneself from sin and divert oneself from the unlawful, and the path to this is marriage. There is no difference between one who is able to provide financially and one who is unable if he fears falling into the unlawful. If marriage is not possible, then he must be patient and practice chastity, and masturbation is not permissible for him.
