Is it permissible to wash the martyr who was killed by militants?

The martyr who is neither washed nor prayed over is one who dies fighting disbelievers due to the battle. If he dies due to fighting disbelievers, or is accidentally struck by a Muslim's weapon, or his own weapon rebounds on him, or he falls into a pit, or is found dead when the fighting subsides without a clear cause of death, he is considered a martyr. However, if the fighting ends and he has a stable life before dying from his injuries, or he dies fighting rebels, or he dies during the battle but not due to it, such as from illness or sudden death, then he is not a battlefield martyr. The conditions for a battlefield martyr are: death during combat, the combat being against disbelievers, and the death being caused by the fighting. If these conditions are not met, then he is washed, shrouded, and prayed over like all other deceased Muslims.
