The answer

Whoever regrets a sin and resolves not to return to it, Allah will accept his repentance and replace his evil deeds with good ones, as stated in His Almighty saying: {Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good ones} [Al-Furqan: 70]. And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Islam demolishes what came before it." And the brokenness and submission to Allah due to sin is a reason for the servant's proximity to Allah's mercy. One must beware of abandoning prayer, for it is one of the major sins, and overcome excessive jealousy instilled by Satan, as it may be a consequence of previous sins.
