The answer

Yazid ibn Mu'awiya committed abominations, the greatest of which was the killing of Husayn, may Allah be pleased with him. Al-Dhahabi described him as strong, courageous, and opinionated, but also as a harsh and crude Nasibi, who consumed intoxicants and committed evil acts. He began his rule by killing Husayn and ended it with the Battle of al-Harrah. People loathed him, and his life was not blessed. His good deeds—if any existed—are submerged in the seas of his evil deeds.
