What is the ruling on delaying or sometimes omitting prayers due to preoccupation or intentionally, and how are missed prayers from days ago made up?

Abandoning prayer or delaying it beyond its legally prescribed time without a valid excuse is a grave sin that necessitates repentance. It has been authentically narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The bonds of Islam will be undone knot by knot. Each time a knot is undone, people will cling to the one that follows it. The first of them to be undone will be governance, and the last of them will be prayer." Whoever has abandoned prayer or delayed it must repent to Allah and immediately make up those missed prayers in order.
