The preponderant opinion is that the blood of a miscarriage is not considered postpartum bleeding (nifas (definition)) until eighty-one days have passed since conception. Therefore, the blood that the questioner saw after her miscarriage in the second month is considered irregular bleeding (istihadah (definition)) and not postpartum bleeding, unless it coincided with her menstrual period and had the same characteristics as menstruation, in which case it would be considered menstruation. She must make up the prayers she missed due to her assumption that she was in postpartum bleeding. There is no sin upon her for this due to her interpretation.
