What is the ruling on working in the central operations of a satellite channel that includes religious channels as well as others for music and films, given the scarcity of livelihood and the difficulty of finding other work?

Working for this company is forbidden, as its earnings are unlawful, because it operates channels of depravity, deviation, and misguidance. Allah Almighty has prohibited engaging directly in sin and assisting in it. Allah Almighty says: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression). Those who manage these channels and work for them bear a share of the sin of spreading indecency and fighting against the Sharia (definition) and morals. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever calls to misguidance will bear a sin similar to the sins of those who follow him." Therefore, it is advisable to leave this work and seek lawful employment, for sustenance is guaranteed, and no soul will die until it has received its full provision. Allah is good and accepts only what is good, and unlawful wealth prevents the acceptance of supplications.
