What is the ruling on a wife refusing her husband's work in another country, on the pretext of her desire for him to remain with their children?

The husband has the right to travel with his wife and move her with him unless stipulated otherwise in the marriage contract. She must obey him as long as no harm befalls her. The husband may travel and be absent for more than six months if it is for Hajj, or for military expedition (Ghazw), or for earning a livelihood from which he spends on his family. If there is no pressing need for travel, it is better for the husband to return to his country to stay with his wife and children.
