The answer

Allah Almighty prescribed acts of worship so that people may succeed in this world and the Hereafter, not out of any need on His part for them. He has promised punishment to those who disobey Him, and He, glorified be He, wrongs no one. It is part of His justice and wisdom that He does not equate the obedient with the transgressors, but rather recompenses each according to what they deserve, as Allah Almighty said: "Or do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds—equal in their life and their death? How evil is that which they judge!" and He said: "Or should We treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat the righteous like the wicked?" It is not permissible to object to the actions of Allah Almighty, for "He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned."
