Does marrying a woman for her money conflict with the principle of a woman's independent financial status in Islam?

The Hadith: "A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. So choose the one who is religious, and you will prosper." This Hadith urges the selection of a religious woman and informs about what people commonly intend by the four characteristics. The Sharia has permitted choosing a wife for her wealth, but this does not mean that the husband is allowed to dispose of her wealth except with her consent. A mature woman has the right to dispose of her wealth just as a man does, and the husband does not have the right to restrict her. Typically, spouses are lenient with each other's wealth with the other's consent and permission.
