The answer

"Salary is not subject to until it reaches the of gold (85 grams) or silver (595 grams). After deducting debts, the remaining amount is subject to zakat if a hawl (one lunar year) has passed on it. What was spent on purchasing a car is not subject to zakat. It is recommended to distribute zakat within its own country, and it is not permissible to transfer it a masafat al-qasr (distance allowing for shortening of prayers) if there are eligible recipients in the country. It is permissible to give zakat to relatives if they are in a country not exceeding the masafat al-qasr, and they have a higher claim to the zakat, provided you are not obliged to support them financially."
