Does the reward for walking to Jumu‘ah prayer, as mentioned in the hadith, equal or even surpass the reward of Laylat al-Qadr—considering that one could easily take a thousand steps each week and earn the reward of fasting and praying for a thousand years?

The immense reward mentioned in the hadith is due to the greatness of Allah's bounty, for He is Ash-Shakur (the Appreciative), Who gives abundantly for little. It has been said: there is no authentic narration in the Sunnah with a reward greater than this. This reward is realized by combining what is mentioned in the hadith of bathing and cleaning oneself, going early for prayer, walking to it without riding, drawing near to the Imam, listening attentively and remaining silent, and not fidgeting. The immense virtue in the hadith is befitting of the immensity of Allah's bounty, when the servant combines what is mentioned in the hadith and leaves nothing out.
