What is the ruling on a young man marrying a woman who has been divorced once or more and has children?

There is no objection to marrying a divorced woman, as it is permissible in Islamic law and encouraged due to the large number of divorced women. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, married eleven women, and none of them was a virgin except Aisha. His encouragement, peace and blessings be upon him, to marry virgins does not mean that marrying previously married women is impermissible or disliked in all cases.
