Istikhara is a supplication that ensures good and righteousness for the servant, even if it does not align with his desires, for Allah Almighty says: "And it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know." So, if you sincerely perform Istikhara and then your work circumstances lead to a particular choice, then there is good in it, Allah willing. There is no harm in repeating Istikhara to emphasize the supplication.
