What is the ruling on publishing and circulating the widespread stories that describe a dead person's experience with the Angel of Death and the angels, and liken his death to the Isra' and Mi'raj journey, knowing that these matters are from the unseen?

If what is narrated on behalf of the deceased is something established by religious texts, such as describing the state of the righteous in the grave or the torment of some of the dead, as mentioned in the Sunnah (definition), then there is no harm in it for the purpose of making religious matters understandable to people. However, if it is news that is not religiously established, then it is not permissible due to its being a 'casting of stones at the unseen' and speaking about Allah without knowledge, and this is one of the major sins.
