Who was it that coined the term "Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah" (People of the Sunnah and the Community) for Muslims?

The term "Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah" (People of thelah-Sunnah and the Community) emerged to distinguish a group of Muslims from others who held innovative beliefs (Ahl al-Bid'ah), such as those that appeared towards the end of the era of the Companions. The first to use it was Abdullah ibn Abbas. The purpose of this term is to highlight the adherence of Ahl al-Sunnah to the methodology of the Prophet, peace be upon him, in knowledge and action, and their adherence to the Muslim community without division.
