Is it permissible for the recipient of clothes to dispose of them, knowing that these clothes were taken surreptitiously from their original owner without her permission?

It is permissible for the mother to take back clothes she gifted to her daughter, by analogy with the father. She may also do so if she gave those clothes to her daughter to the exclusion of her other sisters, and she takes them back to achieve fairness. Or, if the garment is not suitable for her daughter and the daughter insists on wearing it, the mother may take it with the father's permission. However, this is not permissible if the clothes are from the father's or the daughter's own money, or if the mother does not need them, or if she needs them but taking them would harm the daughter.
