Why is it impermissible to supplicate against an unjust father, despite the prohibition of injustice in Islam and the aggrieved son's need for justice and retribution from his father, who failed in his duties towards him and was the cause of his misery?

Parents hold a special status in Islamic law, and it is obligatory to honor them and treat them with kindness, even if they are disbelievers. A father is not to be killed by his son, and a son's wealth belongs to his father when the latter is in need, as long as it is not extravagance or foolishness. This is out of reverence for the father's right and status. It is not permissible for a son to mistreat his father, even if the father acts wrongly, nor is it permissible to curse him when wronged. Rather, one should pray for his guidance and repentance and advise him. If the father requests money for his needs, in a way that does not harm the son's wealth, it is obligatory to assist him, unless the money would be used for something unlawful.
