Is delaying prayer past its time due to obsessive-compulsive disorder and continuous dampness, which sometimes causes its time to elapse, considered an act of disbelief (kufr)?

Whoever intentionally delays prayer until its time expires is considered to have committed an act of disbelief (kufr), though this is a matter of scholarly disagreement. If striving to perform the prayer leads to its time expiring due to whispers (waswas), there is no sin upon the one who does so, as they are in the position of one coerced. However, these whispers must be resisted and overcome. Catching even a part of the prayer within its prescribed time—even if only the opening takbir (takbirat al-ihram (definition))—is considered as having performed it according to the majority of scholars. It is advised to resist and ignore these whispers.
