Who has precedence in leading the prayer (Imamah): the person keen on the Sunnah with poor recitation, or the one who recites well, even though there is someone more keen on the Sunnah than him?

If the regular Imam is absent, the people should be led in prayer by the one among them who is most knowledgeable of the Book of Allah, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The people should be led in prayer by the one among them who is most knowledgeable of the Book of Allah." The prayer behind the aforementioned person is valid, unless he makes a grammatical error in Al-Fatiha that changes its meaning.
