What is the authenticity of the hadith narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah and Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them, which includes a severe warning for whoever takes charge of a dispute on behalf of a people with injustice, or assists in it; and whoever humbles himself before a tyrannical ruler; and whoever points out injustice to a ruler; and whoever slaps a Muslim’s face; and whoever holds a whip in the presence of a tyrannical ruler; and whoever informs on his brother to the ruler; and whoever takes charge of a people’s arāfa (leadership/administration)?

This is part of a long sermon falsely attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It was narrated by Al-Harith ibn Abi Usamah in his Musnad through the path of the liar Dawud ibn al-Muhabbir. This sermon, in its entirety, was mentioned in "Ithaf al-Khiyarah al-Maharah," where it was titled: "Chapter on a sermon fabricated by Dawud ibn al-Muhabbir and attributed to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him." Al-Suyuti also mentioned it in "Al-La'ali' al-Masnu'ah fi al-Ahadith al-Mawdu'ah" (The Fabricated Pearls Regarding Fabricated Hadith (definition)).
