The answer

Obeying one's parents in matters that do not involve disobedience to Allah is among the greatest acts of righteousness. A parent may take from their child's wealth under certain conditions, including: that it does not harm the child, and that the parent does not take it to give to others or to be extravagant.

Financial support is obligatory for a poor parent who is unable to earn a suitable livelihood. It is not permissible for a husband to take his wife's money to give to his parents or siblings unless she consents.

The son should give his father a certain amount as a gift that does not harm his own needs, while encouraging the father to work. It is possible to separate the salary and manage expenses such that the husband provides for his family, then gives his father an amount that does not harm them, while being careful not to spoil the marital relationship.
