What is the best way to learn, ponder, memorize, and understand the Qur'an?

The path to correctly reciting the Qur’an is to learn it from those who are proficient. This can be done by joining Qur’an memorization centers, or via the internet by listening to correct recitation lessons, such as the lessons of Sheikh Ayman Suwaid on the science of Tajwid, or by joining virtual Qur’an memorization circles. To facilitate memorization, seek help from Allah, be sincere in your intention, reduce the amount to be memorized, and repeat frequently. As for reflecting upon the Qur’an (tadabbur), this can be done by reading a concise commentary, such as "Al-Tafsir (definition) Al-Muyassar" (The Facilitated Commentary).
