The answer

If the legal marriage contract (aqd) has been concluded, then a man's intimacy with his wife is permissible and is not considered fornication, even if there is a custom of delaying consummation, which should be observed. There is no obligation to inform the suitor about the loss of virginity unless he stipulated it. Nor is there an obligation to inform him of the reason. He can be informed that the causes of hymen rupture are many and are not limited to fornication.
