The answer

Procreation is a shared right of both spouses, and neither of them is permitted to prevent the other from it without a valid excuse. A wife's spending on the household is not a justification for refusing to procreate.

A wife has the right to refrain from spending, and the husband must spend on his wife and children in a reasonable manner.

If the wife did not stipulate working in the marriage contract, the husband has the right to prevent her from going out to work as long as he spends on her in a reasonable manner.

Both spouses are advised to reach understanding, cooperate, and be keen on what is good for them and their children in a way that pleases Allah.
