Is repentance sufficient for sodomy and false accusation, and how does one who lives in an environment full of sins and does not regret sin repent?

Praise be to Allah, who has blessed you with repentance. Allah accepts repentance from His servants and rejoices in them, transforming the misdeeds of the repentant into good deeds. Repentance is sufficient to expunge sins and does not require the enforcement of legal punishments (hudud), provided that the conditions for its acceptance are met. As part of a complete repentance, you should clear the names of the girls you slandered before those in whose presence you slandered them. If that is not possible, then frequently supplicate and seek forgiveness for them. Do not cease advising your family members who are engaged in disobedience, but be gentle in your advice and vary your methods of admonition. To maintain your repentance, find righteous company. Know that remorse is an act of the heart and an inner feeling, and it is the most important condition for repentance. Strive in that which strengthens your faith. And Allah knows best.
