Is it obligatory to remove clips, barrettes, and plastic hair ties when performing ablution, according to the opinion that the entire head must be wiped? And is it true that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to wipe the front part of her head?

Scholars have differed regarding wiping the head in wudu (ablution): is it obligatory to wipe the entire head, or is a small portion excused? Is wiping only part of it sufficient?

First View: The obligation is to wipe the entire head. Some scholars have excused a small portion due to hardship, while others said that anything preventing water from reaching the hair invalidates the purity. Second View: Wiping only part of the head is sufficient, especially for women, as reported from Aisha and Ibn Umar. No objection to this was known from any of the Companions.

The more cautious approach is to wipe the entire head.
